Total Electric Management Service Co., Ltd. (TEMS) is a partner company of the East Japan Railway Company (JR East). We maintain, manage and construct electrical equipment throughout the area managed by JR East, along with facilities belonging to JR Hokkaido, JR West, JR Freight and various other railway companies.

We were established in 1981 as Tokyo Electric Maintenance Co., Ltd., before merging with East Japan Electric Maintenance Co., Ltd., which oversees the Tohoku area, in 1999. The trust we have earned from our customers has seen us continually expand the scope of our work.
With outstanding safety management and top-quality maintenance, we play a vital role in society.

Maintenance of electric equipment for railways is the backbone of our business, and our work is an essential element in the safe and reliable operation of the railways we serve.
With our frequent, stringent inspections, our railways' passengers never have to question the safety of the trains they use.

We are actively innovating with technology such as IoT and AI in recent years.
